DESCENT FROM THE HEAVENLY REALMS
Time for us to leave the heavenly realms.
Our journey had taken us on a spontaneous pilgrimage to meet some remarkable Masters, and back to the birthplace and homes of ancient wisdom still having a profound effect in today’s world.
The Masters we had met were male, but I realized we had been accompanied by a true female Master.
Yensoon’s profound knowledge and wisdom, both natural and learned, was expressed with such grace and humility it was almost easy to overlook her sublime generosity in translating and explaining the Tao and Buddhism. She was a true Master, humble and virtually invisible until her wisdom and experience were needed.
In Beijing, no sooner had we settled into our hotel than Master Cheng received a phone call that he had to return immediately to Melbourne. Robert and I decided to stay a couple days, perhaps even visit the great wall.
We spontaneously rang the Bureau of Traditional Chinese Medicine to see if we could speak to some one about Ch’i Kung Healing.
There was banging on our hotel door, we opened it to reveal a tousle-haired academic looking young man. He introduced himself as the Head Doctor at Bedahai Hospital, a hospital devoted to Ch'i Healing. He generously gave of his time as he gave us a couple of ''forms' we could practice, along with the simple or not so simple explanation of “Medical Ch’i Kung” and again re iterated how:
"The human body is a small universe that must connect with
the greater universe to function optimally.
In the management of Ch'i, the ideal is harmony between man and his body
and the Ch'i within the Universe."
